Entre las principales atracciones del estado ARAGUA se encuentran sus llanuras y selvas además de attractivas playas caribenas.
Las más populares son BAHÍA DE CATA y el PARQUE NACIONAL “HENRI PITTIER”.

ARAGUA: PARQUE NACIONAL “HENRI PITTIER”
ARAGUA representa el 0,76 % del territorio venezolano.
La costa maritima del estado se extiende desde la BAHÍA DE TURIAMO por el oeste hasta PUERTO MAYA por el este.
Debido al contrastado relieve de diversas altitudes se presentan varios tipos de clima.
En la faja litoral domina un clima semiárido y cálido.
En el PARQUE NACIONAL HENRI PITTIER, a su vez, se producen lluvias que posibilitan condiciones húmedas y más fresca, que posibilitan las formaciones bosques nublados.

ARAGUA represents 0,76 % of the Venezuelan territory.
The sea coast of the state extends from TURIAMO BAY in the west until PUERTO MAYA in the east.
Due to the different altitudes there are various types of climate.
A half-dry, hot climate dominates in the littoral belt.
In HENRI PITTIER NATIONAL PARK, however, rains produce humid and fresher conditions, which enable the formation of tropical rainforest.
